In addition, SMART won in the categories of Best Combined Hardware and Software Experience and Best in E-Learning.

One of the most prestigious international awards in education, the Worlddidac Award recognizes innovative and pedagogically valuable products with a strong potential to improve learning or teaching. Following a rigorous evaluation by an independent international panel of education experts, the SMART Table interactive learning center was honored with the first-ever Worlddidac award for most innovative education product. This is the third time SMART has received the Worlddidac Award. SMART Notebook collaborative learning software was recognized in 2008 and the SMART Board interactive whiteboard was recognized in 2004.

SMART Classroom Suite interactive learning software won in the category of Classroom Management in Middle School and Teacher Tools.

The Comenius EduMedia awards recognize the best in multimedia and education technology in Germany and throughout Europe. SMART won the prestigious EduMedia Medal for SMART Notebook Math Tools software. SMART Notebook Math Tools, the SMART Table interactive learning center and two software applications, Die Smons – Mathematik (Learning Mathematics with Smons) and Die Smons – Sachunterricht (Learning Social Studies with Smons), were also each awarded a Comenius EduMedia Signet.

The Tech & Learning Award of Excellence recognizes the best K–12 classroom technology products of the year. A panel of more than 30 educators, who tested more than 100 entries across the country, chose the winning products. SMART Classroom Suite interactive learning software and SMART Notebook SE (Student Edition) software were recognized after receiving excellent ratings in the following areas: quality and effectiveness, ease of use, creative use of computer technology, suitability for use in a school environment and overall rating.

SMART won the prestigious Comenius Award for the fourth time. The Comenius EduMedia Medal was awarded for a German-language CD-ROM designed with elementary school teachers that provides more than 1,500 interactive lesson activities for use with SMART Notebook software. SMART also received the Comenius EduMedia Seal for the German-language version of the SMART Exchange website, an online community for educators who use SMART products and want to share tips and success stories on the subject of interactive technology in the classroom. The Comenius Awards are judged by an independent jury of education experts and recognize the best in multimedia and education technology in Germany and throughout Europe.

The 600 series won Best User Functionality and was named one of the 25 Best Overall Design Products.
