Alcatel-Lucent announces the availability of a suite of visual collaboration solutions that bring high-quality, cost-effective video to enterprise customers. Alcatel-Lucent’s Visual Collaboration suite includes the new Alcatel-Lucent Interactive Whiteboard Solution, which integrates content sharing using the Alcatel-Lucent My Teamwork application with employee workgroup collaboration enabled by the SMART Board 685ix interactive whiteboard system. During a videoconference, the interactive whiteboard enables participants to write and collaborate in real time, with everyone seeing what is being written and displayed.

Hatch, a leading provider of classroom technology innovations for early learning, and SMART announce the creation of CoreFocus by Hatch. The content solution, designed to work within SMART Notebook collaborative learning software, includes more than 2,500 math and literacy activities for kindergarten and first-grade students and is aligned with the new Common Core State Standards.

SMART Technologies and Vectorform announce the release of Image Reveal, the first third-party application developed for the SMART Table interactive learning center. The SMART Table was introduced in October 2008, and until now, all learning applications for the product have been designed by SMART.
