These cost-effective, in-depth sessions are held at scheduled times and locations around the world. They're designed to help educators maximize the benefits of adopting and integrating SMART products in their classrooms.

Our private training simplifies organizational learning, catering to groups of three or more at your location. Programs and pricing can be customized to meet your needs.

Product overviews
Join a 35- to 75-minute class facilitated via computer and telephone conferencing. Learn the basics of your product and get answers to your questions in one convenient, highly interactive session. Please note that you must register for your session at least 24 hours in advance.

Distance education – product focus
These one-week courses contain the same content as our full-day, face-to-face offerings and are designed to help you use SMART products more effectively in your classroom. They are held live online at scheduled times on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week and are facilitated by a SMART PD professional. These interactive sessions feature hands-on activities, videos and other free resources that provide opportunities for you to practice what you’ve learned before moving on to the next session.

Distance education – teaching focus
In these four- to eight-week college-credit courses, you’ll learn from a SMART PD professional and from fellow teachers through online discussion boards combined with self-paced activities, videos and class conference calls. You’ll gain insight into how best to use SMART technology products to design and teach lessons that engage your students. Our first teaching-centered distance education course focuses on adding interactivity to digital lessons and begins in June 2011. Registration is now open. Courses available for college credit will start in September 2011.
