SMART Sync and SMART Classroom Suite certification training event

If you or your organization provides training on SMART products, consider SMART Training Certification. SMART Training Certification goes beyond the basics with extensive hands-on training that enables you to train others effectively. The credentials you will receive gives you the required skills to deliver high-quality training for SMART Classroom Suite interactive learning software and SMART Sync classroom management software.

The cost for this three day SMART Classroom Suite and SMART Sync certification event is $999.

Unless otherwise indicated, all events are delivered using SMART Classroom Suite and SMART Sync on the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Benefits of SMART Training Certification

Upon completion of the program and final approval from the SMART Certification Trainer, you will receive:

• Special listing on the SMART website as a SMART Certified Trainer
• Access to the SMART Certified Trainer logo for marketing materials
• A certified letter and certificate stating you have completed the certification process
• A licensed copy of the SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard Learner Workbook and the
  SMART Response Interactive Response System Learner Workbook, and the option to purchase production-quality books from SMART
• SMART certificates to hand out to participants in your SMART training sessions
• Other resources created to enhance your training presentations

What to expect

• One day of basic SMART Classroom Suite end-user training, and one day of SMART Sync end-user training. As a certification candidate, you will use these product training days to review or learn how to use SMART Classroom Suite and SMART Sync software. You will also observe the sequence, emphasis and delivery method that a SMART Certified Trainer uses to facilitate this training session.
• One day of combined SMART Classroom Suite and SMART Sync certification training. You will receive facilitation material, coaching and practice that will help you deliver the high-quality SMART Classroom Suite and SMART Sync training sessions your customers expect from a SMART Certified Trainer.
• A maximum of 15 participants to maintain a hands-on, interactive learning environment.

NOTE: The program includes post-certification requirements that must be completed before you receive accreditation.

Pre-session requirements

• Certification candidates must be approved SMART Certified Trainers in both
  SMART Notebook collaborative learning software and the SMART Response interactive response system prior to attending this event.
• Certification candidates are required to bring a laptop computer with the most current SMART Classroom Suite software already installed, complete with any updates or services packages.

Post-certification and ongoing requirements

• All participants must successfully complete an online certification assessment for both
  SMART Classroom Suite and SMART Sync
• SMART Certified Trainers may be required to successfully complete an annual online assessment to maintain their designation
• SMART Certified Trainers may be required to report the total number of sessions they deliver on a monthly basis and the total number of people they train
• As part of the quality assurance process, SMART Certified Trainers will be periodically asked to submit participant feedback forms from their sessions along with feedback summary sheets

• SMART Classroom Suite and SMART Sync learner workbooks – the learner's reference tools during the training sessions
• USB drives, loaded with materials for learners to use during and after the session

Facilitation materials

• SMART Classroom Suite and SMART Sync facilitator's guides – the comprehensive guides for delivering SMART Classroom Suite and SMART Sync training sessions
• USB drives, which include demonstration files, training presentation files and product user's guides

SMART Sync - SMART Classroom Suite combination event schedule

Register for one of the SMART Sync/Classroom Suite Certification events using our online SMART Learning Space.

To register with a purchase order please follow the instructions below.

1. Create an account in the SMART Learning Space if you do not already have one.
2. Send in a copy of your purchase order through smarttech.com/contacttraining or fax 1.403.806.1256, Attention: Training Services. In the body of the purchase order, please make sure you include the names and email addresses of the participant(s), as well as the date, location and type of training. We will process the purchase order and register each participant.

We do not guarantee seats in the events until the purchase orders have been processed, which can take up to 72 hours. Each participant will receive a confirmation email once their purchase order is processed.
