
Darren Zwack brings added leadership to SMART’s global branding effort
CALGARY, Alberta --- May 16, 2007 --- SMART Technologies Inc. announces the appointment of Darren Zwack to the position of director, marketing communications. Working with his team, Zwack will lead the development and execution of marketing communications strategies that drive growth across all markets and product lines, while building the SMART brand around the world.
A business strategist and creative professional with a passion for technology, Zwack brings over 17 years of marketing experience to SMART. Prior to this appointment, Zwack held a senior management role with a leading Canadian telecommunications company, where he managed overall brand strategy and execution. In this role, he helped drive exceptional growth in brand value while the organization achieved the designation as one of the “Best Managed Brands in Canada,” awarded by Canadian Business Magazine. Zwack has also held senior roles at a national digital marketing agency and a top tier global consulting firm. He holds a bachelor of commerce degree.
