UK company covering several additional countries as extension to proven success
LONDON, UK --- May 2, 2012 --- SMART Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: SMT) (TSX: SMA), a leading provider of collaboration solutions, announces that its contract with Steljes Limited, the leading technology distributor in the UK, has been extended for the distribution rights into the Adriatic countries of Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo. Steljes has selected Maribor, Slovenia, as its headquarters for the region and is setting up demonstration centers in each country featuring the comprehensive range of products from SMART Technologies for both education and business customers. The demonstration centers will include customer briefing and training rooms to ensure that existing and prospective customers receive the information, product training, professional development and services they may require.
