Connecticut school district adds over 200 SMART Board interactive whiteboards
CALGARY, Alberta --- February 5, 2008 --- SMART Technologies announces that the Bridgeport Public Schools is outfitting four of its schools with more than 200 SMART Board™ interactive whiteboards. This installation supplements hundreds of SMART Board interactive whiteboards already present in Bridgeport’s 38 schools. After considering several different brands, Coretta K. Dean, Bridgeport Public Schools’ director of educational technology, chose SMART because the products offer a superior user experience and because the company supports teaching and learning with training and digital resources. Including Bridgeport, 93 percent of Connecticut’s school districts have purchased SMART products since 2000.
