Adobe Flash Player causes a dialog error on your Mac computer

Issue

When you install SMART software 10 SP2 and later, SMART Notebook software SE, or SMART Response interactive response system 2.1 and later on a Mac OS X 10.5 operating system, the installation won't work if you are also running Apple Safari or Mozilla Firefox

Cause

Adobe Flash Player, which is embedded into your software, causes a dialog error to appear prompting you to close Apple Safari or Mozilla Firefox before continuing with the procedure.

Solution

Close the Safari or Firefox applications, and then select Continue to proceed with the installation.

 

If you don't close Safari or Firefox prior to selecting Continue, the installation won't work.

To close Safari and Firefox

Click on the application in the Dock and press Quit,or select the application in the Apple menu bar, and press Quit.
