Issue
Handwriting recognition doesn’t work in SMART Notebook SE.
Cause
SMART Notebook SE uses your Mac computer’s Ink service for handwriting recognition, but Ink service doesn’t work unless an interactive writing device is attached to the computer.
Solution
Download and install SMART Product Drivers and then enable the Ink service.
To download and install SMART Product Drivers
-
Using your web browser, go to www.smarttech.com/downloads and then drill down to the SMART Product Drivers page for Mac OS X operating system software.
-
Click Download and then follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the drivers.
To enable Ink service
-
Select
> System Preferences and then click Ink.
-
Select On beside Handwriting recognition if it isn’t selected.
