To switch your projector to Service mode
Follow the instructions in the Unifi Projector Update Wizard:
-
Turn off your projector and allow it to complete the following cooling process:
-
Your projector’s lamp turns off.
-
Your projector’s status light flashes red for approximately three minutes during stage one of the cooling process.
-
Your projector’s status light flashes green for a few seconds.
-
Your projector’s status light flashes amber for approximately three minutes during stage two of the cooling process.
-
When your projector’s status light glows solid amber, your Unifi 35 projector’s cooling process is complete and it is safe to disconnect the power cable.
-
Disconnect your Unifi 35 projector’s power cable from the power plug. Ensure that the status light turns off. If the status light doesn’t turn off, disconnect the USB cable that connects your computer to the interactive whiteboard.
-
Re-connect the power cable to the power plug and wait until the status light stops blinking and glows amber.
-
Ensure that the USB cable is connected from your computer to the Unifi 35 projector or the extended connection panel (ECP).
-
Press and hold the Up and Power buttons on your projector until the status light flashes amber.
-
Click Next.
You can now complete the firmware installation.
