Eligibility & Requirements
How to Apply

The SMART Research Assistance Program receives many high-quality submissions and, as such, we cannot support all proposals.

To reduce the time and effort required to submit a proposal, our application process is divided into two phases.

Preliminary Submission
First, you are invited to send a brief description (25-50 words) of the focus of your research project and the role SMART products will play. Submit this preliminary proposal to research@smarttech.com. A committee will review the proposal and contact you shortly with a decision.

Formal Submission
If your project is given preliminary approval, you will then be asked to fill out an online application, that includes space for a full proposal.

There is no deadline for proposals. Proposals are evaluated as they are received.
