Updates to popular education software enable increased classroom interactivity

SMART Notebook 11 collaborative learning software, SMART Response assessment software 2012 and the Mac edition of 3D Tools for SMART Notebook software are now available for customer download. Also available as part of the upgrade is SMART Ink™, a feature of SMART Board® interactive displays that allows users to make and save digital ink annotations in any application window. The updates to SMART’s popular education software introduce new features that offer even more opportunities for collaboration and increased interaction. SMART Notebook 11 contains an Internet browser that inserts live websites within the SMART Notebook software page and allows users to write over the site and to drag and drop content into the page. It also features an adaptive toolbar and supports widgets available for download on the SMART Exchange™ website. SMART Response assessment software 2012 features new educational standards and cognitive level question tagging, enhanced Teacher Tools reporting and image support for the SMART Response VE interactive response system. SMART Response assessment software is the only one of its kind that integrates seamlessly with SMART Notebook software, enabling instant assessment for teachers and saving time with daily lesson plans. 3D Tools for SMART Notebook, a new plug-in that provides tools to import, view and manipulate 3D content, is now available for Mac users. SMART Ink is a feature that allows educators and students to naturally write over any digital content on a SMART Board interactive whiteboard, convert their writing to text and save it.
