SMART Notebook Interactive Viewer software will allow users to download, at no charge, a basic version of SMART Notebook to view and interact with content offline. Users can view SMART Notebook software pages, make annotations with digital ink, play Flash® content and page recordings and interact with widgets, animations and activities.

The Linux® version of SMART Notebook 11 software will offer Linux users key features of SMART Notebook 11 available on Microsoft® Windows® and Mac operating systems. It supports the embedded Internet browser, multitouch and gesture recognition and widgets developed through the SMART Notebook 11 software development kit (SDK). It also offers an improved toolbar.

SMART Notebook 11 software has achieved official IMS interactive whiteboard/common file format (IWB/CFF) v1.0 conformance, making SMART the first company to attain this status.
