Certification process

1.Create a SMART Learning Space (SLS) account using your primary e-mail address. We strongly suggest you use the e-mail address associated with your current organization.

 

2. Register for a training session on the SLS.

 

3. Attend the training session, and sign the sign-in sheet.

NOTE: It is important to provide accurate personal information because it will be used for the trainer listings and contact purposes.

 

4.A certification path is added to your SLS account and includes: :

A video assignment. This isn’t applicable for all certifications, but if a video is required, you must complete it prior to the online assessment. Details are located on the SLS.

An online, open- book assessment

 

5.Complete the assignment(s) and assessment(s). Upon successful completion, you will receive a SMART Certified Trainer, SMART Factory Trained Technician or SMART Factory Trained Installer contract.

 

6.Sign and return the contract to become officially certified. Your name and contact information will be posted on the website within 5–10 business days and you gain access to the SMART Brand Library.

 

7.Access your certification logo, certificates, officially certified letter and training materials in the SMART Brand Library.
