SMART Course Credit System
You can now earn valuable credits when you pursue SMART's world-class training. As you accumulate credits, you can use them towards:
- SMART certifications
- SMART courses
- SMART merchandise
You can earn credits by completing self-paced, instructor-led or online training offerings from SMART. You can also be credited for completing courses offered by SMART Certified Trainers or SMART Resellers. You must complete a course assessment to receive credit. All assessments and credits are tracked through the SMART Learning Space.
External Credit Program
Currently, anyone who takes a course offered by SMART can earn credit for their learning time. This credit can be used towards SMART certifications, courses, and merchandise. But did you know SMART Certified Trainers and SMART Certified Training Centers can also offer SMART credit for courses they create?
If you are an SCTC or SCT and want the courses you create to be eligible for credit:
- Submit an electronic copy of your course and assessment to learningsystems@smarttech.com
- Complete and submit the Lesson Development: Best Practices checklist to show how your course meets our criteria.
- Pay a processing fee of US$250 per course. Payment details will be e-mailed to you upon submission.
Once you submit your course, it will be reviewed by SMART Training and Professional Development to ensure it is consistent with our standards for high-quality training. We will then notify you by e-mail that your course was approved and your assessment has been posted on the SMART Learning Space.
