Level 3 SMART Technical Training Certification
SMART Technical Training Certification goes beyond the basics with extensive hands-on training that enables you to train others in your organization. In this four-day certification program, participants learn and practice how to effectively deliver Level 2 Technical Training and Level 2 Installation Training. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be designated as SMART Certified Technical Trainers (SCTT), and will have access to online support resources from SMART.
Requirements
Candidates are required to complete a video of themselves delivering a section of a technical training module, and submit that video to SMART Technologies for review. You must also sign the SMART Certified Technical Trainer agreement.
Maintenance
The ongoing maintenance requirement for this certification requires adherence to the SMART Certified Technical Trainer agreement, as well as attending a minimum of four Level 1 online technical training sessions per year. SMART Certified Technical Trainers must deliver no less than two technical and/or installation training sessions per year, and must train a minimum of five participants per calendar year.
Customer requirements for on-site sessions
- A room that comfortably holds the participants and a SMART Technical Trainer, and that has an area large enough to assemble and disassemble the SMART Board interactive whiteboard
- A wall on which a SMART Board 600 series interactive whiteboard and Unifi projector can be installed
- A SMART Board interactive whiteboard in its shipping box (specific product depends on customer requirements)
- A Unifi or UX series projector (specific product depends on customer requirements)
- A SMART Board 600 series interactive whiteboard with the integrated projector or a third-party projector (necessary for the SMART Technical Trainer to deliver the presentation)
- Access to the Internet
- Access to a computer network (recommended but not required)
