System requirementsHide

NOTE: SMART Meeting Pro connector for Lync supports a maximum of four displays. SMART Meeting Pro, included in this download, can support 16.

For one- or two-display systems

  • Windows XP SP3 or Windows 7 operating system
  • 2.0 GHz dual core processor or faster (quad-core recommended)
  • 1 GB of RAM for Windows XP or 2 GB of RAM for Windows 7 (4 GB recommended)
  • Discrete 128 MB VRAM and support for DirectX 9 technology
  • 1 GB of free hard disk space for minimum installation (additional free space required during installation)
  • 10 Mbps network connection (100 Mbps recommended) supporting TCP/IP 

For three- to eight-display systems

  • Windows XP SP3 or Windows 7 operating system
  • 2.0 GHz dual-core processor or faster (quad-core recommended)
  • 3 GB of RAM for Windows XP or 4 GB of RAM for Windows 7
  • Discrete 128 MB VRAM and support for DirectX 9 technology
  • 1 GB of free hard disk space for minimum installation (additional free space required during installation)
  • 10 Mbps network connection (100 Mbps recommended) supporting TCP/IP

For nine- to 16-display systems

  • Windows 7 (64-bit) operating system (Windows 7 with Advanced Aero theme disabled recommended)
  • 3.0 GHz dual-core processor or faster (quad-core recommended)
  • 8 GB of RAM or more
  • Discrete 256 MB VRAM and support for DirectX 9 technology
  • 1 GB of free hard disk space for minimum installation (additional free space required during installation)
  • 10 Mbps network connection (100 Mbps recommended) supporting TCP/IP

  3. Remote Ink client (Remote Ink.msi)
    Note: Install Remote Ink client after you install SMART Meeting Pro software on the meeting room computer.

For the Remote Ink by SMART service computer, install these components in this order:

  1. Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended Profile and Client Profile (dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe)
  2. Remote Ink Service (Remote Ink Service.msi)
