Follow the steps below to download and activate SMART Notebook software.

Obtain a product key to activate SMART Notebook software.
- Download SMART Notebook software, either by clicking the link below or the link in the e-mail you received from SMART when you registered for a product key.
- During the installation process, enter the product key you received from SMART.
NOTE: If you don't obtain a product key, you can use SMART Notebook software for 30 days.

NOTES:
- This version of SMART Notebook software includes SMART Product Drivers with support for the SMART Board 480 series interactive whiteboard. If you have a SMART Board 480 series interactive whiteboard, you need an Internet connection and 26 MB of free hard disk space for the Dynamic Kernel Module Support (DKMS). If you don't have a SMART Board 480 interactive whiteboard, you can remove the extra driver from your installation.
- The two RPM package downloads below (the prepackaged repository and the plain files) contain two Fermi packages. Only install the Fermi package that's needed for your system:
- For Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 and openSUSE 11.4, install nwfermi-0.5.2.4-2.i386.rpm
- For Linkat 4.0, install nwfermi_kernel_default_devel-0.5.2.4-2.i386.rpm

- GNOME 2.8.0 or KDE 3.5 or 4.1 libraries (recommended)
- Linux distributions: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0, openSUSE 11.4, Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Ubuntu 11.04.
NOTES:
- 64-bit Linux distributions aren't supported.
- SMART Notebook software hasn't been tested with distribution and application versions later than those shown and could operate unexpectedly.
