NOTES:

• If you don't enter a product key during installation, you start a 30-day software trial. You can enter product keys at any time after installation.
• You can retrieve your SMART Notebook product key if you've already registered your eligible SMART product.

To get SMART software product keys

• SMART Notebook
  Register your eligible SMART hardware product.
  (SMART Board interactive whiteboard, SMART Board for flat-panel displays interactive whiteboard, SMART Podium interactive pen display, SMART Response interactive response system, SMART Document Camera, SMART Slate wireless slate, SMART Table interactive learning center or LightRaise interactive projector).

• SMART Response software for SMART Response VE or CE
  Purchase the software from your SMART reseller who will provide a product key. SMART Response CE product keys also provide SMART Notebook SE activations.

• SMART Response software for SMART Response PE, LE, XE or Senteo interactive response system
  After software installation, connect your SMART Response receiver to your computer. No product key is required.

• SMART Notebook Math Tools software
  Purchase the software from your SMART reseller who will provide a product key.

• 3D Tools for SMART Notebook software
  Purchase the software from your SMART reseller who will provide a product key.
  OR
  After software installation, connect your SMART Document Camera to your computer to activate Mixed Reality tools, which includes 3D Tools for SMART Notebook software. No product key is required.

• SMART Sync software 
  Purchase the software from your SMART reseller who will provide a product key.

• SMART Classroom Suite 
  Purchase the software from your SMART reseller who will provide a product key. This product key will also activate SMART Notebook SE software on student computers.

• SMART Product Drivers
  No product key is required.

• Pentium IV or higher processor
• 1 GB of RAM (2 GB recommended)
• 2.5 GB of free hard disk space
• Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 7 operating system
• Internet Explorer Internet browser 6.0 or later
• Adobe Flash Player 11.1 or later
• Windows Media Player 9 or later (required for SMART Recorder)
• Microsoft DirectX technology 8.1 or later (required for SMART Video Player)
• DirectX 9-compatible graphics hardware for SMART Notebook 3D Tools

SMART Notebook 11 software for Windows supports the following languages: 

To install SMART software

1. Get SMART software product keys (see the Activation instructions above).

2. Click the Download button in the top section, and then follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
   IMPORTANT: Some components of the Education Software Installer require an Internet connection.

3. After the software installation is complete, you can enter your product keys to activate the software.
   NOTE: If you don't enter a product key, you start a 30-day software trial. You can enter product keys at any time after installation.

4. Download and install service pack 1 for SMART Product Drivers 11.

5. Download and install service pack 1 for SMART Ink 1.

IMPORTANT: Do not install SMART Notebook 11 software on a SMART Table interactive learning center. The table supports only SMART Notebook 10.8 software.
