SMART Hardware SMART Board 600 series interactive whiteboards

Overview

Use the following guidelines when you write with dry-erase markers on your SMART Board 640, 660, 680 or 690 interactive whiteboard.

Details

You can write on your 600 series interactive whiteboard with dry-erase markers. Use high-odor dry-erase markers on the interactive screen. Don’t use low-odor dry-erase markers because it’s more difficult to remove their ink.

Clean your interactive whiteboard screen once a day with household glass cleaner if you regularly use markers on the screen.

Clean your interactive whiteboard screen once a month with whiteboard cleaner if you regularly use markers on the screen.

Don’t use permanent markers to write on your interactive whiteboard. See document 77938 for more information about removing permanent marker stains from your interactive whiteboard.
