Adobe Flash Player doesn’t work in SMART Notebook software on your Mac computer.
When you insert Adobe Flash files into a SMART Notebook page, one of the following events occurs:
Your computer stops responding.
You can’t write or click in the Adobe Flash file.
You get a message telling you Adobe Flash Player is not installed.
SMART Notebook software requires Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.x or later, but you have an earlier version installed on your computer.
Verify that you have Adobe Flash Player 10 or later installed on your computer. If you have an earlier version, download and install the most recent version.
There are two ways to verify your Adobe Flash Player version; online or on your hard drive.
To verify your Adobe Flash Player version online
Start your Internet browser and go to www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/.
The version of Adobe Flash Player on your computer appears.
To verify your Adobe Flash Player version on your hard drive
Browse to Mac HD > Library > Internet Plug-ins.
Control-click Flash Player.plugin.
Select Get Info in the menu that appears.
Check the file version in the Version area.
To install the most recent version of Adobe Flash Player
Close SMART Notebook software.
Go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player to your desktop.
Once download completes, an installation wizard appears.
If the wizard doesn’t appear, double-click the file you downloaded.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
