Overview
You can download third-party applications to use on your SMART Table interactive learning center.
Details
Download the application files (.tableApplication) to your USB drive, and then copy them to your SMART Table interactive learning center.

Downloading applications
You can download applications using SMART Table Toolkit, or from the SMART Exchange online community.
To download applications using SMART Table Toolkit

Start SMART Table Toolkit.

Click Online Activities.

Click the SMART Table applications link.

Search for and download files to your computer.

On Windows computers, run the .exe file
OR
On Macintosh computers, run the .dmg file.
The SMART Table installation wizard appears.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Copy the .tableApplication file and any associated .tableContent files to your USB drive.
To download applications from the SMART Exchange online community

In your Internet browser, go to http://exchange.smarttech.com/go/table/applications.

Click a link and follow the on-screen instructions to download files to your computer.

Run the .exe file for Windows.
OR
Run the .dmg file for Mac.
The SMART Table installation wizard appears.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Copy the .tableApplication file and any associated .tableContent files to your USB drive.
Applying applications and activities to your SMART Table interactive learning center
Once you’ve saved the files to your USB drive, apply them to your SMART Table interactive learning center.
To apply an application or activity

Turn on your SMART Table interactive learning center.
The SMART Table Activities menu appears.

Connect the USB drive to your table.
The menu changes from Student mode to Teacher mode.

Press Choose Activities.
A list of files on the USB drive appears.
Tip
Press
to rotate the list 180°.

Select the appropriate file, and then press Open.
Notes
• You must open the application before attempting to open the associated content.
• The name of each file must be unique. You’re unable to apply a file with the same name as one you previously applied.
Your table applies the application or activity defined in the file, and then a confirmation message appears.

Press OK.

Disconnect the USB drive.
The menu changes from Teacher mode to Student mode.
