Digital ink doesn’t immediately appear in SMART Notebook software

Issue

Your digital ink notes appear three to four seconds after you write them in SMART Notebook software.

Cause

The refresh rate on your display is set too low.

Solution

Increase the refresh rate on your display to 60 Hz or more.

To increase the refresh rate

  1. Select Apple () Menu > System Preferences > Displays.

  2. The Displays window opens.

  3. Change the refresh rate to 60 Hz or more.
