Overview
This document provides details on the short installation brackets for SBA and SBA-L projection audio speakers and their compatibility with SMART Board 600 and 800 series and 480 interactive whiteboards.
Important
The new, shorter bracket is 5 3/8" (13.6 cm) wide, and is compatible with SMART Board 600 and 800 series and 480 interactive whiteboards.
The old, longer bracket is 8 7/8" (22.5 cm) wide, and is only compatible with the 600 series.
Details
There are two types of projection audio speakers for SMART Board interactive whiteboard systems: SBA and SBA-L. Older speakers include long brackets, and newer speakers include shorter brackets.
Short bracket speaker package part numbers compatible with SMART Board 800 series and 480 interactive whiteboards
SBA and SBA-L speaker packages are now shipping with short installation brackets. To ensure you have brackets that are compatible with your SMART Board 800 series or 480 interactive whiteboard, verify the shipping label on your speaker package has one of the following part numbers:
