Overview

This document explains how to update the firmware on your interactive whiteboard appliance system.

Details

To update your firmware

  1. Download the appliance firmware file from the Downloads page of the SMART website.

  2. Copy the firmware file to a USB drive.

  3. Connect the USB drive to the USB port on the Appliance Control Panel (ACP).

  4. Press System on the SMART Business Toolbar, and then select Settings.

    A Welcome logon screen appears with password field.

    Note 

    You need the administrator password to access this section.

  5. Type the administrator password in the Password field and then press Log On.

    The Configuration Setting menu appears.

  6. Press the Administration tab, use the Firmware Update tool to browse to and select the firmware file on the USB drive and then press open.

  7. Follow the on-screen instructions.
