Mobergsskolan in Växjö, Sweden, is being recognised as a SMART Exemplary School for its transformative use of technology to support equitable, future-ready learning for all students. With around 100 students across Years 8–10, the school pairs a close-knit, family-like environment with a forward-looking approach to instruction. Every classroom is equipped with SMART Boards, giving students consistent, daily access to interactive technology, whilst teachers use Lumio to deliver flipped classroom instruction that shifts learning towards a student-centred model, giving learners greater ownership of their pace and process. This complements the school’s broader focus on preparing students for the future, including hands-on work with AI, university partnerships and international exchanges through Erasmus+.
