For many of us, summer is just around the corner! It’s hard to believe that another year of teaching is almost wrapping up and your chance for some well-deserved rest and relaxation is nearly here. We hope you have plans to unwind after a busy school year.
Of course, almost as soon as this school year is done, you’re thinking about the next one. We’re here to support you in making your year feel a little bit easier. A year where you can use Lumio to enable lesson planning on the fly, gain insight into learning with quick assessment strategies and discover ways to support student-led learning. That’s why we’ve developed fun and useful PD opportunities for teachers like you this summer.
Since the Lumio team knows how important professional development is, we have been busy buzzing away building an amazing summer virtual professional development event for you. One that is created FOR Teachers BY Teachers….
Introducing our new summer Virtual PD event: Lumio Palooza!
Lumio Palooza is a two-day event taking place on July 18 & 19th. The sessions at this event will be led by our community of innovative global education leaders that make up the Lumio ambassadors group and will cover a wide range of subjects and Lumio features.
Over the course of the two days, you will learn strategies and techniques with Lumio to support you in the year ahead. The sessions led by our incredible ambassadors will cover a variety of subject areas from language arts to STEAM, for students of all ages, levels and abilities.
Join for the whole two days or select the sessions that you’re most interested in! Either way, you’ll walk away with hands-on experience to improve student outcomes with Lumio’s game-based learning activities, creative collaboration opportunities and easy-to-use assessments.
And of course many networking opportunities. As Lumio Palooza will be led by our wonderful ambassadors, you will get the chance to connect and collaborate with like-minded educators throughout the two days of virtual sessions.
