SMART teamed up with Visual Sound to activate technology in their schools and “be there for the long haul”.
‘Make and Take’ is an annual professional development event hosted by the School District of Philadelphia that equips teachers with the technology and training they need to have a successful start to their school year.
What makes the ‘Make and Take’ model so unique is the emphasis on the teacher and student. The PD model that once had only a 30% attendance rate now receives 100% attendance and often needs waiting lists. Educators in the District of Philadelphia truly understand the value of this PD opportunity and the importance of digital literacy in the classroom.
