ISTELive23 kicked off in Philadelphia this year with a BANG! The theme this year for the show was “Discover your Next” and we embraced that at the SMART Booth. We delivered simple ways to elevate your teaching to engage students in immersive learning experiences with tools, tips, lessons and connection.
We loved connecting with educators and friends, old and new. We were especially thrilled to meet some of our international educators that traveled from all around the world to convene in Philadelphia for this incredible global education summit.

There sure was a buzz surrounding accessibility at ISTELive. We were thrilled to welcome Alex Dunn, Speech Pathologist from Upper Canada District School Board, as well as Marleah Umpleby from TobiiDynavox to the SMART Booth to present on simple ways to increase classroom inclusivity and accessibility tools from SMART.
The importance of creating inclusive classrooms and accessible experiences is only growing. Our commitment to creating accessible digital tools for educators and students will continue to play a huge part in our technology.
Yellow all around
It wouldn’t be a global education summit without Lumio! Our friends at Lumio painted the tradeshow floor yellow with airbrush tattoos. Lumio was everywhere!
We were feeling the love as educators shared their appreciation for Lumio. Check out what this educator thinks about the features and activities within Lumio:

Making an impact with Philadelphia School Districts
This year at #ISTELive we had the opportunity to join our partners at Visual Sound to bring leaders from local districts together for valuable roundtable conversations. Sharing perspectives on everything from device management to security policy, AI and everything in between, it was a great chance for the teams to learn from one another and take away best practices for tech integration and implementation.
